SONGWRITING SHORT COURSES

Inspiring, informative and hands-on

Discover and develop the art and craft of songwriting in a well structured short course for amateur musicians, lyricists and anyone who would like to discover and develop songwriting skills and get their creative juices flowing in a supportive environment.

The intensive creative sessions cover essential topics such as inspiration & themes, lyrics & music, melody & hook, formats & structures and a wide range of tools & techniques, while taking a creative, practical and interactive approach in a small group.

Participants work on their individual ideas and will, by the end of the workshop series, have at least one complete song and lots of ideas and skills to write many more.

Musical knowledge and/or instrumental/vocal skills are an advantage but not necessarily essential.

Courses can be run over one or two weekends or 4-5 consecutive days, suitable for creative holidays, songwriting retreats or team building with small groups.
